This app and the wire doesn’t work

I have a iPhone 8 update with latest software. Bought this Wired to watch all the videos on my screen I have a TV and I have a computer screen as you can hook up HDMI cords to. This app this wire neither one of them work with the iPhone 8 I’ve hooked it up at 1000 different ways of that up HDMI first lightning connector first USB first I’ve tried every different possible configuration and it doesn’t work with an iPhone ate it works with an iPhone I think I have an old iPhone SE laying around and that software works without a problem lightning connector you plug it in and it goes right to playing on screen no problems whatsoever but this is avatars incorrectly it does not work with an iPhone 8 at all.
Current 1.7 stars is 1.7 stars too many

Unfortunately, if you’ve ed this app, you’ve already wasted your money on the company’s Lightning to HDMI cable (that won’t work without this software despite their advertising to the contrary). Sorry, you’ve been screwed, too. The app offers a few dozen firmware updates based on what you see onscreen when you plug in their device. Unfortunately, the one that was supposed to work for me did not and I kept getting messages from my phone that the attached device is not ed. I’d say, save your money but it’s probably already gone.

The cable worked as intended, but after I connected the cable and clicked the button to “Trust this computer”, I was prompted to sign into my google (weird, since this is an iPhone). Upon giving it my google , I start getting emails from Google saying my has been compromised and forcing me to change my . Same thing happened when I installed this app to update the cable’s firmware. HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. I took the cable back to the retailer. Don’t add another zombie to the botnet!
