Don't Buy This Toy

We bought the RoboRaptor for our son for Christmas. Straight to the point...the toy is expensive and the quality is poor. The toy just didn't work period. Huge disappoint especially when our son said this was his favorite toy. I spent 45 minutes opening the toy undoing all the tape, ties, screws, etc from the cardboard box. The first sign of poor quality is with the physical remote that had the Demo button upside down. I put all brand new batteries in and the toy made mechanical sounds but did not move or do anything. The physical remote did not do anything and the toy didn't respond. Installed this app and the same result, nothing worked. This may be just a defective toy but you expect something this expensive and technology driven that the quality would be inspected. It was sad to see the disappointment on our son's face and trying to explain to him why it wasn't working. We are taking this back immediately. To say the least, very frustrating!

Despite WowWee’s lack of updating their website or this app’s description, this app works with non-Bluetooth Robosapiens, etc., as long as you have the IR attachment. It’s still flaky as all get-out, but I suspect that’s an issue with the IR functionality & not the app.

Love this app the Bluetooth work very fine. (P.s) to all you people that are just getting the roborapter you're remote gotta be in front of the raptor face for it to move and nowhere else. And I hope this help
